Bencana banjir melanda Negeri Johor pada bulan Mac lalu, menguatkan iltizam Kerajaan Negeri untuk memainkan peranan dalam menangani dan mengurangkan kesan perubahan iklim.<\/p>\n

Menteri Besar, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi memaklumkan keberadaannya dalam Minggu Iklim Asia Pasifik 2023 (APCW 2023) adalah untuk mengenal pasti bentuk tindakan lain yang boleh dilakukan bagi memastikan kejadian sebelum ini tidak berulang.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Bersama pelbagai pihak berkepentingan dari pelbagai negara, APCW 2023 sangat signifikan dalam konteks cabaran global dan persidaangan ini berperanan penting mendorong kepada perbincangan, polisi dan tindakan mengenai perubahan iklim bersama masyarakat dunia.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Negeri Johor bersedia untuk menjadi sebahagian daripada pemangkin kepada perubahan global yang positif serta berhasrat mempelajarinya sepanjang persidangan bertaraf antarabangsa ini berlangsung selama lima hari.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

APCW 2023 berlangsung di Pusat Konvensyen Antarabangsa Persada Johor dengan menghimpunkan kira-kira 2,000 delegasi dari 150 negara membuka tirainya bermula hari ini.<\/p>\n
