Sebanyak RM65.66 juta diperuntukkan Kementerian Pendidikan bagi Projek Khas Naik Taraf Tandas Sekolah melibatkan 938 sekolah di negeri ini, untuk kerja naik taraf kefungsian tandas bagi memastikan persekitaran, infrastruktur dan kemudahan pembelajaran murid berada dalam keadaan kondusif.<\/p>\n

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pendidikan, Penerangan dan Komunikasi Negeri Johor, Norlizah Noh memaklumkan projek khas itu di bawah seliaan dua agensi iaitu Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Johor (JPNJ) bersama Kementerian Pendidikan (475 sekolah di lima daerah) serta Pejabat Pembangunan Negeri Johor bersama Pejabat Daerah (463 sekolah di enam daerah).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Projek khas itu merupakan inisiatif dan aspirasi Perdana Menteri, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim yang mahu kemudahan tandas bersih dan selamat untuk keselesaan lebih 500,000 pelajar dan hampir 50,000 guru di negeri ini, yang melibatkan kerjasama Kerajaan Negeri bagi memastikan objektif pelaksanaannya tercapai.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Penglibatan Pejabat Daerah secara langsung di bawah pemantauan Pejabat Pembangunan Negeri Johor di dalam merancang, melaksana dan memantau projek khas itu membabitkan penentuan skop kerja tandas, proses perolehan dan pelantikan syarikat, pemantauan kerja serta pengesahan kerja dan pembayaran.<\/p>\n

Norlizah berkata demikian ketika menjawab soalan Dato’ Zulkurnain Kamisan (Ahli Dewan Negeri Sri Medan) pada Mesyuarat Keempat (Belanjawan 2024) bagi Penggal Persidangan Kedua Dewan Negeri Johor Ke-15, pada 29 November 2023.<\/p>\n
