BATU PAHAT — The Batu Pahat Municipal Council (MPBP) yesterday received a visit from Tourism representatives for the Majestic Johor Standard 2022 inspection session.

In his statement, MPBP explained that this first stage visit involves five tourism products in the Batu Pahat district for the purpose of auditing which will be carried out by the tourism department.

The five locations in question are Mount Banang, Frozen Oil Beach and Batu Pahat Well, Dato Onn Gallery, BP Bariani Power and Biostar Resources (Coffee and Kelulut) Peserai.

The visit was managed by the Tourism Division of the Development Planning Department as well as the Landscape Division, Engineering and Landscape Department of MPBP.

The same visit was also accompanied by the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Batu Pahat for the purpose of assessment from the safety aspect.

The Tourism Johor party also conducts monitoring and review on the site regarding the criteria set, especially in relation to aspects of physical security, tourism products and facilities available at each location.

Through this audit, it aims to recognize the tourism locations found in the Batu Pahat district in the tourism calendar of the state of Johor.

It can be used as a guide for tourists who intend to visit Batu Pahat in the future.

The MPBP hopes that more potential tourism products in the Batu Pahat district will continue to be highlighted and indirectly boost the tourism industry in the district in the future.
